You know how you should wait around 2hrs after eating to start working out? Well, you should also eat SOMETHING. Here's how today went...
After I was up for a while, payed bills (ugh), and continued to watch the U.S. Open, Katelyn texts me to let me know we are meeting at the gym at 3:15p! I guess I should get moving!! I gather my stuff (and myself) and head to moms. I do laundry, drop off recycles, hang out w/ the dog (take him out to pee - after he peed on my foot!), read my book and take a cat nap. Somewhere in there I ate a nectarine and a fruit by the foot!! I know it's not healthy, but it's been so long since I've had one - don't judge me!! I stop home, put away the laundry, get water and head to the gym.
So far, by this point, I've eaten:
9am - cereal w/ straw&blueberries
12pm - nectarine
1pm - fruit by the foot
I go to the gym. I slept a lot last night and even took a cat nap today, but because I hadn't eaten much, I was tired like a just worked 14hrs @ my job and ate nothing all day - - lesson learned!
Today's workout was: (not fantastic, but I was still there!)
- abs (back & sides) 30reps each side
- 50lbs ab machine
- leg lifts (30)
- 30min elliptical
- 30min walking on an incline
Not too bad considering how stinkin' hungry I was!!!
By the way, the dog peed on my foot because he gets excited when someone comes home. So if there's any pee in his bladder, more than likely a little sprinkle will come out. Today, that sprinkle hit my foot. I promptly washed my foot in the kitchen sink (as it was closest) and went back to petting him (pee free)!
Good thing your mom doesn't read this - washing your pee covered foot in the sink, I can hear the bleach coming out now!!
